INSURANCE LADY UPDATE

Hello, Charmaine the Insurance Lady here!

I hope each of you are staying safe and feeling well. The past few months have seen many changes in the insurance world. For instance, if you had Medicare and a Supplement plan during the last quarter of 2020 and subsequently, signed up for a Medicare Advantage plan; you cannot have Medicare Advantage and keep your Supplement plan. Unfortunately, the two plans cancel each other out. If you are on dialysis and think you have both of these plans, contact your Insurance Coordinator,Social Worker, your agent or reach out to a family or friend for help.
