This can-do attitude is what I want to pass along…

I'm retired after 22 years in advertising followed by 18 years in the solar power industry in San Diego. I grew up in New Mexico and served in the army during the Vietnam Era.

To date, this has been my medical history: Two hernias; two renal failures; two kidney transplants; 32 total months of dialysis prior to each transplant; prostate cancer (successfully radiated). Add lung cancer (successful lobectomy); C diff (large intestine infection, treated); continuous skin cancers (MOHS treatment); peritonitis and a perforated appendix (at the same time, treated); and most recently, Covid. Yet with all of those medical issues, I never felt in poor health.

For me, staying positive along with exercise and a decent diet has provided me with a strong core for survival. Additionally, good medical care and support from family and friends have put me in a position of strength as new issues arise.

This can-do attitude is what I want to pass along as a Remend mentor.
