AVOIDING CABIN FEVER

The pandemic has been questionable yet interesting, calming yet rough, but mostly self-reflective. Having celebrated 17 years with my transplant, I continue to be overly cautious (as some describe me) but to take the risk of not protecting myself and run the smallest risk of becoming infected, is just not worth it.

Ever since I began self-isolation on March 12th, I’ve worn a mask and kept hand sanitizer with me at all times. Many people believe taking these precautions is a “hoax “ or a mask won’t help. I don’t let others opinions affect my actions or safety. As long as there is concern, I will continue to follow the guidelines to stay healthy.

To keep from having cabin fever, once the temperature cools off I take my dog out for a walk or go for a bike ride. I also made a home gym and work out with weights 3-4 days a week. It doesn’t take too much…don’t think about it and just do it!
