MENTOR HIGHLIGHT: BARRY PALMATIER

REACHING OUT ON HIS “KIDNEYVERSARY”

Barry reached out to ReMend on the anniversary of his 1-year kidney transplant because he felt inspired to give back. He was previously on Peritoneal Dialysis and researched how he could continue to do what he loved - surfing. It was a long road, but he made it through miraculously. We’re so excited to have Barry apart of the ReMend team. His story is one of determination and a boat-load of appreciation!

SHELTERING IN PLACE IS DIFFERENT FOR EVERYONE

Many people have become bored and many find creative ways to keep themselves entertained. Take Barry, ReMend Mentor. Back in March, he decided to sail out to Catalina Island and nestle into a little cove. Two and a half months later, Barry is working from "home" - still on his boat in Catalina.

EXPLORING THE CATALINA CONSERVANCY

Kidney transplant recipient and ReMend Mentor, Barry shares part of his quarantine experience at Emerald Cove and encounters some island wildlife.

THE ADVENTURE CONTINUES…

In this video Barry continues to explore Catalina Island via Electric Unicycle, shares spectacular views and takes a walk on a beautiful secluded beach.
