Are you under 65 and recently started dialysis? Did you know you may qualify for Medicare? You may ask, “Well I already have insurance through my job, or I already have Medicaid, why would I need Medicare?” Those are great questions! If you are interested in receiving a transplant, Medicare can help pay for your medication up to 3 years after transplant! If you have Medicaid and like to travel, Medicare could give you coverage to travel within the US. There are lots of great reasons to check into it! Check with your Insurance Coordinator or Social Worker at your clinic for more information!
