SENATE PASSES THE IMMUNO BILL

Senate Passes Landmark Legislation for the Transplant Community - providing lifetime kidney transplant drug coverage to all recipients.

ReMend applauds Congress for its passage of Senate Bill 3353 (The Immuno Bill)! This bipartisan legislation will extend Medicare’s Part B coverage of immunosuppressive drugs for kidney-transplant recipients beyond the current three-year limit.

The decision comes 2 weeks after the bill was passed by the U.S. House of Representatives. In a statement, the National Kidney Foundation commended what the organization deemed a decision that can save lives and taxpayer money.
